- Facebook confirmed it has hired 3 of its fiercest critics after two years growing privacy scandals.
- The company said in a statement to Business Insider that it believes it is “important to bring in new perspectives to the privacy team” and “the new hires we are making will challenge us to build better approaches to privacy in the future.”
- Robyn Greene, an attorney for Open Technology Institute, and Nathan White from Access Now will work out of Facebook’s DC office, while Nate Cardozo, an attorney formerly of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, will be based out of Menlo Park, California.
