Debbie Allen, “black-ish” star Tracee Ellis Ross and entertainment attorney Nina Shaw will be honored by Essence magazine at its pre-Oscars luncheon later this month.

The magazine announced Tuesday that it will honor the three women at its Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon on Feb. 25.

Essence editor-in-chief Vanessa De Luca said in a statement that the indomitable power and presence of Allen, Ellis Ross and Shaw embraces an inclusive and diverse Hollywood community.
