Female Circumcision Continues in 30 Countries, Mostly in Africa





Female circumcision is a common but brutal practice in some cultures, where it affects millions of women in 30 countries, mostly in Africa. That is why the U.N. has designated Feb. 6 as the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation.
