Kanye West is always full of surprises.

During the San Francisco auditions for Fox’s hit show “American Idol” a few months back, the hip-hop mogul surprised the judges and stopped in for his very own tryout.

“We were in San Francisco, and they said, ‘We’ve got a contestant that’s just going to jump into the line,'” American Idol Host Ryan Seacrest told E! News “And up walked Kim and Kanye, Kim pregnant and Kanye enthusiastic and ready to go in there.”

The best part about the whole thing? The judges don’t skip a beat and play along the entire time.
