WhatsApp’s payment platform reaches 1 million users in India (FB)

WhatsApp’s pilot for its payment service in India reached 1 million users, according to Quartz. The company, which started the beta testing round of the pilot in February after rumors of a December 2017 launch, hasn’t announced an official launch date and is using the beta to fix any issues with the service.
