While salary-growth potential shouldn’t necessarily discourage students from pursuing a particular major, it’s an important consideration to make when thinking about the future.
To find the jobs where the pay goes nowhere, we looked at this year’s College Salary Report from PayScale and calculated the difference between starting (less than five years of experience) and mid-career (10 or more years of experience) pay by college major.
Here are the 20 college majors with the smallest percentage of salary growth:
