New home mortgage applications dip 7% from October

Mortgage applications for new home purchases in November 2025 increased 3.1% from a year ago but compared to the previous month, decreased by 7%. That’s according to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Builder Application Survey (BAS) data.

The association disclosed that the change does not include any adjustment for typical seasonal patterns.
