On Thursday, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) notified the U.S. District Court in Detroit that it was voluntarily dismissing its “kickback” lawsuit against the Jason Mitchell Group, Rocket Homes and others, with prejudice, meaning that the CFPB cannot file another complaint against the same defendants with the same claims.
