Fairfax County, which borders the District of Columbia and is home to about 1.1 million residents, is experiencing a “disconnect” between its affordable housing supply and the number of seniors living on a fixed income. That’s according to local news outlet FFXnow, which cited comments from local housing and government officials at a recent meeting of the county’s board of supervisors.
