The award show highlights innovation in technology and the startup world with award categories like Best New Startup, Fastest Rising Startup, Best Founder and the inaugural Include Diversity Award. With only 12 categories, receiving a Crunchy is a honor for the hundreds of startups that start and reach for success each year. A 100-person Crunchies Board will pick the winners by a secret, paper ballot. The Crunchies Board includes TechCrunch editors, alongside entrepreneurs, investors and other tech notables.
